They provide a much needed increase in buoyancy at the rear of the boat, and more than offsets the weight of the heavier 4 stroke motors.  With the outboard at this location, it rarely cavitates and the prop gets a good bite of the water.This makes for better handling and maneuvering. The Transom can support higher HP outboards with ease. Center Pod can be fitted with built in water and waste holding tanks. |
